She recently completed her residency at East Carolina University/Vidant Medical Center Family Medicine Residency in Greenville, North Carolina, where she served as chief resident.
Dr. Oliveira sought out work in a FQHC because she has a lifelong commitment to underserved populations and dedication to cultural understanding. She is proud to be part of organization like Sea Mar that is truly dedicated to helping patients and their communities. Her clinical interests also include women’s health, obstetrics, hospital medicine, and chronic disease management. She welcomes complex patients who challenge her medical knowledge as well as social competency. Additionally, she loves to care for women throughout their pregnancy and growing families after delivery, allowing her to genuinely get to know her patients. Caring for entire families is the most rewarding part of her job. She is also enthusiastic about teaching medicine and is excited to have an opportunity to help cultivate the next generation of family doctors.
Dr. Oliveira is very excited about the all the possibilities for new adventures in the PNW. She moved to the Seattle-area with her partner, Eric, who is completing a Hepatology Fellowship at Swedish Medical Center and her fluffy cat, Kola Bear. She enjoys yoga, hiking, and cooking as well as Face Timing with her new baby niece who lives in Germany.
