We welcome you to apply to our residency. We are looking for applicants who want to work in community health, caring for the underserved. If this is your mission, you should apply! We are training residents who strongly desire full spectrum skills obtained in a large community hospital with no other residents, an unopposed training. We are just north of Seattle, with less traffic, and many desirable places to live. Our first class is doing great, 6 strong pioneers getting robust training in their rotations. We weave longitudinal underserved curriculum throughout the experiences. For instance, the community medicine rotation has myriad activities exploring the social determinants of health. Also, the residency orientation includes a windshield survey of the community, where you will learn about the environment our patients live in. Additionally you will see the migrant farmworker camps, and care for patients there. We invite you to come be part of a strong program, where you can leave your footprint, and graduate with skills pluripotent for working in the community of your choice.
